Product Marketing Engineer

The opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Product Marketing Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll oversee the related factory quotations and be responsible for multi-factory bid coordination with the right competitive pricing, costing and all the related operational factors.  You will be at an operational level, it covers the whole sales funnel from a supply side standpoint, from bid and proposal/tendering stage to price setting with the objective of speeding up the decision-making process and price decisions. This role is also instrumental for cross-factory bid and/or cross-hub tenders. The Product Marketing Team Specialist is reporting to product marketing manager of the factory.

How you’ll make an impact            

  • Getting continuously/daily fed by the WCFE and Sales Teams by means of SFDC collaboration and through the proper selection of the factory, within and outside the HUB
  • Being a vocal point for the factory business intake by ensuring that this business is being smoothly executed through the different diversified functions.
  • Pricing responsibility/pricing setting empowerment based on WCFE and Sales Team price feedback
  • Overseeing the pricing setting, order handling & project management when applicable (one face/one voice for the Customer) for Distribution business; in charge of the operational sales, pricing setting, contract & project management and project controller (one face/one voice for the Customer) for Power business   
  • Developing relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Looking after Customer relationship by showcasing the factory on a regular basis and acting on the results to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Supporting other factory functions: she/he might act as RR delegate within the HUB (specifically for Power)
  • Initiating, Creating, planning and ensuring implementation of the regional go-to–market product marketing strategy including definition and communication of product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy.
  • Engaging in business study, analysis and the situational analysis of the market to be a start of further strategic plan in place for market penetration, or market share growth.
  • Driving sales efficiency by ensuring appropriate product knowledge (technical and sales expertise) for each Salesperson.
  • Ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaboration
  • Looking after sales execution for assigned products by coordinating the preparation of relevant materials with the Product Marketing Team and offering support and guidance to WCFE team(s)
  • You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • A bachelor’s degree in electrical Power and Machine Department Engineering degree.
  • Structured and analytical thinking.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing & sales – B2B, energy sector preferably.
  • Very good French Conversation and written capabilities is a must.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English is required.
