EconiQ® Dead Tank Circuit Breaker up to 420 kV

The EconiQ 420PM63-HA and the EconiQ 362PM80-HA are Hitachi Energy’s eco-efficient Dead Tank Circuit Breakers (DTB) for rated voltages of 362-420 kV. They combine a low carbon footprint with the performance and reliability expected from dead tank circuit breaker technology. Both products use an insulating gas mixture of carbon dioxide (CO2), oxygen (O2) and C4-fluoronitrile (C4-FN). The mixture essentially eliminates the CO2 equivalent emissions of the insulating medium and significantly reduces the CO2 product footprint compared with SF6-based solutions. It allows users to transition to an eco-efficient technology without sacrificing their technical requirements.
