EconiQ GIS ELK-3, 550 kV, is the most robust SF6-free gas-insulated switchgear (GIS). It combines a low carbon footprint, superior reliability and low life cycle costs in a flexible product layout.

EconiQ GIS ELK-3, 550 kV, is a sustainable and eco-efficient product proven to significantly reduce the CO2 equivalent emissions during the complete life cycle of the product, compared to the SF6 solution.

The EconiQ ELK-3, 550 kV, uses a gas mixture of carbon dioxide (CO2), oxygen (O2) and C4-fluoronitrile (C4-FN). The mixture essentially eliminates the CO2 equivalent emissions of the insulating medium.
