Hitachi Energy’s EconiQ Plug and Switch System (PASS) portfolio represents a new generation of eco-efficient hybrid switchgear, designed to minimize environmental impact while delivering robust performance for high-voltage applications.
When compared to the existing SF6 solutions, both the EconiQ PASS 145 and EconiQ PASS 420 significantly reduce the CO2 equivalent emissions throughout their complete life cycles.
The eco-efficient EconiQ PASS 145 and EconiQ PASS 420 use a gas mixture of carbon dioxide (CO2), oxygen (O2) and a specific fluoronitrile (C4-FN). The mixture essentially eliminates the CO2 eq emissions of the insulating medium.
