Supplier Quality Engineer

Your responsibilities:

  • You will be part of parts qualification (PPAP) and Supplier quality management (On-Site for new suppliers and Ariba online), Supplier assessment (audit for existing suppliers as required), Contractor qualification.

  • Supplier development (Mainly Supplier Sustainability Development Program)

  • Supplier performance improvement and monitoring, Complex NCR resolution.

  • Follow up supplier related OPQ and claim recovery status, involved in escalated claim support.

  • Draft quality control plan according to criteria and requirements and monitor the execution at supplier side.

  • Driving continuous improvement project or Kaizen.

Your background:

  • Technical University bachelor's degree at least.

  • 5+ years of quality management experience in production company.

  • Knowledge in the area of modern quality management methods and techniques.

  • Ability to read technical documentation.

  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills; Familiar with   DMAIC, A3 ,8D,FEMA methodology.

  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide range of people.

  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP systems.

  • Team player attitude, client orientation and passion for detail.

  • Must have experience of industrial area, knowledge of machining, casting, painting, transformer experience as a plus.

  • ISO 9001 internal auditor, ISO 16949 Internal Auditor as a plus.

  • Good command of English.
