General Field Sales Senior Professional

As a General Field Sales Senior Professional at Hitachi, you’ll be at the forefront of driving growth and expanding market share in your territory. This role is all about building strong customer relationships, crafting winning sales strategies, and delivering exceptional results across Hitachi’s diverse portfolio of products and solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to capture new business opportunities.

  • Identify, qualify, and secure new customers while strengthening existing partnerships.

  • Understand customer needs and present tailored solutions that deliver value.

  • Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing and post-sales support.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless solution delivery and customer satisfaction.

  • Deliver impactful presentations and proposals to technical teams and executive leaders.

  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs.

  • Maintain accurate forecasts and customer data in CRM systems.

  • Stay informed on market trends, competitive landscapes, and Hitachi’s product roadmap.

  • Represent Hitachi at industry events and trade shows to build brand awareness.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • 7–10 years of B2B field sales experience with a proven track record of success.

  • Expertise in selling complex technology solutions or industrial products.

  • Strong experience in Power Transformers.

  • Strong consultative selling skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.

  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently and collaboratively.

  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
