Manufacturing Quality Assurance Entry Professional

The Opportunity

Manufacturing Quality Assurance work includes: Defining and specifying activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for a manufactured material, component, or product. Building and maintaining the infrastructure and systems necessary to consistently ensure the timely delivery of quality products. Auditing, monitoring, and determining the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards. Reporting and troubleshooting manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods An Entry Professional (P1) applies broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education. May require the following proficiency: Work is closely supervised. Problems faced are not typically difficult or complex. Explains facts, policies and practices related to job area.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to meet Factory and customer-specific quality requirements.
  • Analyze customer / Process feedback and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor and evaluate risk mitigation measures for manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain and update PFMEA, Control Plan and Work Instruction to track and minimize risks.
  • Interpret quality data,NCRs and recommend process improvements.
  • Support Lean Six Sigma and other process improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct root cause analysis using tools like 5 Whys and fishbone diagrams.
  • Provide training on process performance monitoring and improvement.
  • Performing onsite quality audits. Support daily quality functions at the assembly units
  • Statistical analysis of process parameters for Quality
  • You will collaborate with and empower all departments for deviation detection, Nonconformance follow ups, root cause analysis, correction measures implementation and continuous improvement.
  • Routine test and site failure analysis
  • ISO 9001 2015 Documentation requirements / adherence to QMS
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Candidate should have 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Candidate should hold Lean six sigma Green Belt.
  • Experience in Process Quality Improvement, RCA, Statistical analysis
  • Prior experience with SAP S4/HANA systems.
  • Knowledge of quality management concepts and industry standards.
  • Certification or experience in problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to address quality issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
