How you’ll make an impact

1. You will be leveraging the Continuous Improvement Process Sourcing (CIPS) process, implement effective sourcing strategies in line with business strategy ensuring that the awarded suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements and conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, trends, and best practices within the MRO & Consumables area.

2. You will ensure identification, investigation, and selection of appropriate suppliers (focusing on quality, delivery, cost and sustainability) in accordance with Company policies and manage the end-to-end sourcing process, including supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management.

3. You will manage planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost budgets, emerging country spending and savings forecasts also minimize risk regarding quality and financial exposure by contracting in accordance with quality and commercial procedures and in accordance with company guidelines also adapt corporate contractual framework to the local business needs.  

4. You will ensure identification, investigation, and selection of appropriate suppliers (focusing on quality, delivery, cost and sustainability) in accordance with Company policies, provide and maintain standard terms in purchase contracts/terms and conditions in line with Company directives and guidelines and ensure HSE, regulatory, and quality compliance in all project phases.

5. You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

1. You hold a bachelor's degree in BA/BS in Supply Chain/Business Administration /Finance or related discipline.

2. Required with 5+ years of work experience of which minimum 3 years in a Supply Chain Role around Services and Strategic Sourcing in a company.
3. Strong knowledge of: Detailed knowledge in managing Indirect Materials and Services, MRO, Consumables, Safety items, Technology trends in the area, Business process standards and associated applications and driving vendor consolidation and vendor sourcing for related functions.
4. Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing global category strategies, sense of ownership, pride, and ability to see projects through to completion and outstanding organizational skills to manage multiple moving parts simultaneously and optimally in a matrix organization and with very little oversight and direction.

5. Superior negotiation skills in a highly challenging, intercultural multi business environment and be able to negotiate terms and conditions as well as prices that align with business objectives.
6. High understanding and knowledge of stakeholder’s internal needs, familiar with critical process requirements in engaging 3rd Party providers in line with local regulations.

7. Ability to lead initiatives and promote acceptance across units and product lines management with strong knowledge/ use of MS office tools, MS Teams, Power BI and SAP, Ariba applications.

8. Strong project management and execution skills, with good command of English and Chinese (business fluent).
