The Opportunity :

Hitachi Energy is hiring a Senior Service Sales Engineer to drive growth across the region by shaping and executing service sales strategies. You will promote a strong portfolio across High Voltage, Transformer, and Substation Services, delivering value-driven solutions to customers.

How you will make an impact

  • Drive service sales and business development across key markets such as Utilities, Power Generation, Oil & Gas, EPCs, and Industrial sectors.

  • Identify and pursue new opportunities, leading the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure.

  • Build strong customer relationships by understanding business drivers and aligning solutions with long-term goals.

  • Analyze installed base to identify growth opportunities, support lifecycle extension, and promote upgrades, digitalization, and circular economy initiatives.

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans, including revenue targets, growth priorities, and executive engagement.

  • Present a comprehensive service portfolio covering installation, commissioning, maintenance, upgrades, retrofit, and digital services.

  • Monitor market trends and represent the organization in customer engagements and industry forums.

  • Achieve sales targets, support pricing strategy decisions, and maintain accurate pipeline forecasting using internal tools.

  • You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

  • 5–7 years of experience in service sales, with strong customer relationship skills.

  • Good understanding of Hitachi Energy systems and products.

  • Experience within the energy sector.

  • Strong commercial, technical, and negotiation capabilities.

  • Ability to work independently with a strategic, results-driven mindset.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Emirati nationals preferred.

  • Willingness to travel across assigned countries as needed.

  • Oman/GCC driving license preferred.
