The opportunity

Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products, Solutions and Services.  Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications, including power generation, transmission and distribution, oil, chemical and gas, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor and data centers, as well as building and transportation sectors.

How you’ll make an impact

1. You will assist the team in mapping, analyzing, and optimizing daily office and business processes. Identify bottlenecks and redundancies in existing approval chains and deliver process optimization proposals and implementation documentation.

2. You will design, debug, and maintain daily office workflows and multi-level approval flows. Ensure seamless adaptation to various departmental needs including daily operations, business reporting, and approval archiving.

3. You will perform data consolidation, statistical analysis, and automated report generation using office tools. Utilize Excel functions and macros to automate repetitive data tasks and improve productivity.

4. You will utilize Power Automate​ to build automation scenarios such as data synchronization, message notifications, file archiving, form routing, and automated approval reminders to minimize manual repetitive work.

5. You will assist in conducting user training, compiling operation manuals, and resolving user inquiries. Track post-launch feedback and continuously iterate on process logic.

6. You will support the team with other tasks related to process digitization and office automation.

7. You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

1. You can currently pursue a bachelor’s degree or above. Majors in Computer Science, Information Management, Data Analysis, Business Administration, or related fields are preferred. However, all majors are welcome if skills are aligned.

2. Prior experience in building and maintaining automated workflows; candidates who have independently built office automation processes will be prioritized, skilled in VBA, capable of writing and modifying Excel macro scripts to achieve automatic report updates and batch data processing.

3. Practical experience in enterprise approval flows, OA processes, or office automation projects, familiarity with Microsoft Low-code tools such as SharePoint​ and Power Apps.

4. Strong self-learning ability with a proactive attitude toward researching new tools and features, capable of independently solving common issues in workflow setup and tool usage without intensive supervision.

5. Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced expertise in Excel (functions, pivot tables, conditional formatting). Experience with Excel Macros/VBA for task automation is required, possess fundamental programming logic and capabilities. Understanding of basic concepts such as variables, loops, and conditional statements. Experience with Python​ or VBA​ is a plus.

6. Clear logical thinking with a keen sense for process mapping and logic construction. Excellent problem decomposition, data organization, and attention to detail.

7. Responsible, meticulous, patient, and detail oriented. Possess good communication skills and execution capability to deliver tasks on time with high quality.
