Together with Monocle and TEDxBrussels, Hitachi Energy presented two events that tell the story of the Electricity Era and our role in powering the world’s energy system to be more sustainable, secure, resilient, and affordable, making electricity more accessible to all and empowering societies to thrive.
Powering Purpose book launch
In partnership with Monocle, we unveiled Powering Purpose, a handbook on powering people’s lives, lighting the way forward and where to find the energy for change. The launch was accompanied by a special edition of The Foreign Desk, Monocle Radio’s flagship podcast on international affairs, recorded live on location.
TEDxBrussels Countdown 2025
Countdown is a global initiative that transforms ideas into actions and solutions to the climate crisis. For the 2025 edition of Countdown, Hitachi Energy partnered with Monocle and TEDxBrussels to discuss and explore how the energy transition is transforming infrastructure, investment, and geopolitical strategies to build a sustainable energy future.
