Oil Laboratory Supervisor

The opportunity:

Managing and keep continues improvement of oil laboratory program for sampling, testing, and result interpretation as well as provide recommendation to the client both for external and internal customer. Responsible for tools and equipment that belong to oil laboratory and keep them up running to the best efficiency.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • You will oversee testing compliance with standards and regulatory requirements, ensure equipment calibration and maintenance and conduct routine test procedures and operate lab instruments.

  • You will apply safety measures, handle reagents, and manage waste disposal per regulations, document data interpretation, reporting, and record-keeping, translate corporate methods and ensure precise adherence to lab procedures.

  • You will coordinate equipment qualifications (IQ, OQ, PQ), address problems and drive continuous improvement, train and coach Analytical lab staff.

  • You will engage in and report on internal audits, collaborate with Field Service, Quality Audit, and Factory teams, and assist during external audits.

  • You will validate analytical methods for key release specifications and manage LIMS / HE-own software compliance, proactively engage in continuous improvement projects i.e. KAIZEN

  • You will perform Analyst Qualification for methods transferred to the site, adhering to standards, support the local manufacturing factory during the validation of local processes and equipment.

Your background:

  • You hold a B.E. or B.Sc. degree in Chemistry, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of laboratory experience in the oil-typed transformer, oil and gas, petrochemical products industries. Strong knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control.

  • Familiarity with GMP, USFDA guidelines, and TGA/PICs is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with leadership skills.

  • Experience in digitalization for dashboard visualization and lab automation, or software applications such as LIMS, SAP, ECM, etc.

  • Open mind set, positive thinking, ready to work under pressure and be able to work on multitask. Able to work in Samutprakarn, Bangpoo Industrial Est.

  • Good command of English.
