The opportunity:

 The Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing data to identify trends and patterns related to product or process quality. The role involves performing root cause analysis to resolve quality issues and implementing corrective actions to improve overall performance.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • You will collect, organize, and analyze quality data from various sources, use statistical tools and software to interpret data and generate reports, identify trends, deviations and potential quality issues through data analysis.

  • You will conduct investigations to determine the underlying causes of quality problems, apply problem-solving techniques and methodologies such as 5 Whys, fishbone Diagrams, or Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address identified issues.

  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions and make adjustments as necessary, ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

  • You will prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, analysis findings, and improvement activities, maintain accurate records of investigations, actions taken, and outcomes achieved and communicate findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.

  • You will review and refine quality control processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, assist in the development and implementation of quality policies and procedures.

Your background:

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in data science (Data Analysis) or engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field).

  • Proven experience in a quality engineering role or similar position, focusing on data analysis and root cause analysis. Experience with advanced data analysis techniques and software.

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab, Excel). Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Certification in Six Sigma or similar quality methodologies & in Data Analysis.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
