Procurement Specialist

The opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Procurement Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for managing the entire procurement cycle, from identifying needs to contract negotiation and supplier relationship management, ensuring the availability of high-quality raw materials and components for our electrical manufacturing. This role is crucial in maintaining our smooth manufacturing operations, optimizing costs, and upholding product quality standards.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • You will design and execute effective procurement strategies for various materials, research, identify, and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery time criteria.

  • You will conduct negotiations on pricing, contract terms and conditions, and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve the most favorable agreements for the company.

  • You will build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, including performance monitoring, issue resolution, and long-term development. You will create, manage, and track purchase orders (POs) accurately and on time.

  • You will conduct regular market analysis to identify price trends, product innovations, and potential cost savings.

  • You will collaborate with production and logistics teams to optimally manage inventory levels, minimizing the risk of overstocking or stockouts.

  • You will ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and applicable regulations, maintain complete and accurate procurement documentation. You will identify and implement opportunities to enhance procurement process efficiency.

  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial   Engineering, Economics, Business, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of work experience as a Procurement Specialist, Purchasing Staff, or a similar role, preferably in an electrical or electronics manufacturing company.

  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, supply chain management, and best practices in negotiation. Good understanding of the technical specifications of raw materials and components used in electrical appliance production.

  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills and detail-oriented & able to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in using ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

  • Female is preferred.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Good verbal and written communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
