Supplier Quality Engineer (Japanese)

How you’ll make an impact

1. You will plan and organize supplier process audit for existing suppliers, work with sourcing & product engineering departments for the new supplier qualification and low performance supplier’s de-sourcing.

2. You will support in supplier quality data collection (ppm, SPC, audit finding, etc) and analysis to address low performance suppliers for improvement. Support PQE for critical quality issue resolution.

3. You will support in supplier key process and key raw material quality control to mitigate quality risk including new critical suppliers and newly localized critical components.

4. You will introduce IT tools to suppliers for quality process management, 5M1E change management, Traceability, Major quality processes optimization.

5. You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

1. You hold a bachelor’s degree or above, electrical, mechanical or electronic engineering is preferred.

2. At least 5 years’ working experience as supplier quality management.

3. Quality tools knowledge and application skills PPAP, SPC, FMEA , MSA.

4. Familiar with stamping, machining, PCBA manufacturing and assembly process, quality requirements, test specification and failure analysis.

5. Very good personnel communication skills, both with internal and external.

6. Very good logic thinking, problem-solving & collaborating skills.

7. Good Japanese skill (speaking, writing, etc.).
