R&D Engineer – Senior Full Stack Developer

We are looking for a R&D Engineer – Senior Full Stack Developer. A person that will help pave the way for our digital IoT platform and guiding our other developers towards best practices.

Our R&D engineers and scientists develop breakthrough technologies that change the way the world works, and industries do business. We constantly push the limits of convention, while retaining our focus on delivering quality products and solutions to our customers.

You will be working in an agile team setup in a Global Environment, with colleagues in Poland that is cooperating with teams in Sweden and India. You will report to the local department but also to the Global R&D functions for digital solutions in HVDC.

The team is working in an agile way where all team members are expected to contribute with their knowledge and experiences to achieve the common goals for the development of the products. This means that the team is doing breakdown of activities together, collaborate within the team as well as seeking collaboration with other relevant teams in (and sometimes outside) the HVDC organization.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Design, develop, and maintain software systems that support the analytics functions of our asset monitoring solutions.

  • Implement software solutions that are scalable, efficient, and maintainable.

  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

  • Investigate and resolve software defects and issues.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest software development trends and technologies.

  • Collaborate with product owners, project managers, domain experts, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize software features and requirements.

  • Working in a cross-disciplinary team using the Agile development methodology.

  • Sharing your knowledge and experience with other team members.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or an equal field of study.

  • 5+ years of experience in software development.

  • Fluent in English.

  • Full Stack software development background

  • Good knowledge on C#

  • Good knowledge on .Net Framework and .Net Platform above 6.0

  • Good knowledge on RDBMS concepts

  • Good knowledge on Secure coding principles

  • Deep understanding of frontend technologies like React

  • Good understanding of Java Script fundamentals & ES6+

  • Good knowledge on Windows and Linux platforms
