Sina Dhane - My Power Grids Story

Meet Our People | Zurich, Switzerland | 27.05.2020 | 1 min read

“I am proud to be Power Grids because of its positive impact on society!”

"In my most recent role within Power Grids, I manage substation digitalization projects for a large North American utility. These types of projects increase the availability and reliability of our power supply by reducing the substation footprint, reducing outage time, and through the availability of real-time information and therefore contribute to providing a more sustainable grid.

In the various teams I have been a part of within Power Grids, the one common thread is team commitment to deliver our projects to customers. Together, with collaboration and dedication, even when working behind the scenes, we get our solutions at the forefront of our business and contribute in ‘keeping the lights on’ for our partners.

I feel excited that with the upcoming JV, we will be bringing together the know-how of two globally reputable companies (Hitachi and ABB Power Grids) to provide a greener and more sustainable grid for future generations."
