I am #ProudToBePowerGrids because we work in a way that is safe, responsible, and compassionate towards each other. Being a health and safety professional, it is my responsibility to make sure that everyone goes back to their family safely.
In my 20-year career, we have never let our guard down, when it comes to safety. Safety, as we all know and have experienced, is a never-ending journey! Every day in safety, we stand at the starting point to make a difference in each of our lives, to keep each of us safe!
As what has been said before many times, ‘with great power comes great responsibility,’ and this is something we keep in mind while at work. The 3S – safety, sustainability, and security – is our license to operate; this is what Power Grids lives and stands for. We never look the other way.
Every new day promises a new learning experience, inspiring each of us to give our best! It’s an inexplicable feeling to be amidst a group of cooperative, engaging, and aspiring teammates. Our managers have built a strong foundation of leadership, instilling safety and sustainability values deep into our DNA. Going to work is like coming from one family to join another family. Every occasion—be it a birthday or a festival—is lived in and celebrated joyously! We need those smiles of satisfaction to move forward and succeed.
Power Grids, plugged in with Hitachi, promises to make us even more sustainable, safer, secure and powerful! This, I believe, is going to be a super exciting journey, to be a part of European culture blending in with the exquisite Japanese culture. I would love to have a bite of sushi with a bowl of cereal!
