Sales Manager – Substation Automation Systems

The opportunity

A Specialist Professional is a recognized subject matter expert in job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities typically include Managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager. Coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower-level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and often complex.

How you’ll make an impact            

  • Developing & implementing sales strategy, and strategic sales and business development initiatives, in alignment with global sales strategy.
  • Achieves sales targets in respect of both budgets and sales efficiency. Supporting, maintaining and growing existing accounts.
  • Developing customer relationships within the Saudi Arabia to win new customers and gain recurring revenue from existing customers and partnering with other Hitachi Energy sales organizations to build pipeline and to increase overall brand.
  • Ensuring sales achievement through regular oversight and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed. Develop pipeline in an organized approach to target list of prospects in identified segment and territory.
  • Identifying opportunities at existing and potential new customers within the defined geographical areas and determines plans for acquisition and allocates resources. Provide customer and market feedback on market segment intelligence and needs.  Participate in training provided by technical and product management to have the latest go-to-market plan.  Provide feedback on trade events and marketing needs from sales.
  • Supporting the development of strong relationships with key customers. Builds and maintains strong relationships with key decision makers. Ensures efficient marketing communications.
  • Takes ownership of the sales processes, and all relevant training and development plans, actions and programs. Team with Sales Engineering to respond to customer technical needs as part of sales process. Coordinate sales efforts closely with Operating unit functions and extended Sales team. Provide customer and partner feedback to Product Management to ensure clear communications of requirements.

Your background             

  • A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in engineering or relevant field is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in relevant field is required.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
