The opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy and take the lead in driving reliability, efficiency, and innovation across our manufacturing operations. As our Maintenance Operations Leader, you’ll guide a skilled team in maintaining and improving equipment, infrastructure, and production lines. You’ll play a key role in shaping maintenance strategies, optimizing costs, and ensuring our facilities run at peak performance.

This is a dynamic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about continuous improvement, safety, and team development. You’ll collaborate across departments, lead impactful projects, and contribute to a culture of operational excellence.

This position is based on 2nd shift and may require occasional weekend work.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

How you'll make an impact

  • Lead maintenance planning and execution for equipment and facilities.
  • Manage and monitor the annual maintenance budget.
  • Collaborate with engineering to define maintenance plans for new production lines.
  • Develop and implement equipment life cycle management procedures.
  • Recommend improvements to reduce downtime and enhance reliability.
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are upheld.
  • Build and develop a high-performing maintenance team.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to work 2nd shift and some weekends.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and timekeeping tools (e.g., Kronos).
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint.
