Release of PCM600 version 2.11 Hotfix 20220617

PCM600 2.10 Hotfix 2021
A hotfix package for Protection and Control IED Manager PCM600 version 2.11 has been released. We highly recommend the installation of this hotfix 20220617 when using PCM600 version 2.11.

In the section below you will find more details about improvements and corrections done in the hotfix.  

Improvements and corrections

  • Fix for cases where communication configuration with SMV did not work as expected for certain IED families
  • Inconsistencies with GOOSE communication after PCM600 project migration corrected
  • Improved robustness of Communication connection
  • Improved robustness of Update Manager with installed language add-ons
  • Improved handling of high DPI settings
  • Improved handling of measurement labels in Graphical Display Editor
  • Improved robustness in interoperability with third party IEDs
  • Fix for error scenarios where configuring some IEDs failed when example configuration (*.pcmi) option is selected in IED configuration wizard

This hotfix includes also the previously released hotfix for PCM600 version 2.11:

  • PCM600 2.11 Hotfix 20220318.exe

Note: If the previously released hotfix package for PCM600 version 2.11 is already installed, then only the new hotfix will be applied. If earlier hotfix for PCM600 version 2.11 has not been installed, then this hotfix package will apply all the updates.

The Hotfix 20220617 for PCM600 version 2.11 is available via the PCM600 Update Manager and Software Library. It contains the following file:

  • PCM600 2.11 Hotfix 20220617.exe

We recommend the installation of this Hotfix 20220617 when using PCM600 version 2.11.
