Hitachi Energy is looking for a Global Quality Specialist to support the Global Product Group Quality Manager for Distribution Transformers (Liquid, Traction, Dry transformers) on the quality assurance path, sustaining quality requirements compliance through a continuous improvement approach across all factories in coordination with Regional Quality and Factory Quality Managers.
Your responsibilities
You will collaborate to define the quality journey and will be responsible for follow up improvement actions
You will be responsible for data’s performance analysis (monitoring product lines and factories performance) and for editing the quality monthly report
You will create and update the global quality standards (i.e. feasibility commitment, quality requirements standards)
You will prepare and trigger global quality alerts and create a global control plan
You will deliver and support trainings and lessons learnt sharing
You will develop with IT support and business unit collaboration the IT tools transition from manual to digital
You will plan, prepare and execute audits with relevant experts, identify gaps and ensure closure
You will develop and support different quality improvement projects as per the quality journey plan (i.e. design improvement and process improvements)
You will lead and support TOP issues with 8D approach for deep root cause analysis and fast problem solving
You will support reverse FMEAs for RPN update and cycle of learning for next projects / new design
Your background
You hold at least a bachelor´s degree in the field of Engineering
You bring 3-5 years of working experience in the industrial sector, preferably with experience in electrical, distribution or renewable energy sector
You are focused on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement
You bring expertise /knowledge in Project Management, APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) PPAP (Production Part Approval Process, Fast problem Solving (8Disciplines), Process Audit)
You are self-driven and independent, mixed with an agile mindset what enables you to outstanding stakeholder management
You bring excellent communication skills in English; other languages are appreciated (French, Spanish, Italian, German)
You have an affinity for digitalization paired with a passion for learning (good command on IT tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)
You have capability and real motivation to travel over the world visiting our factories ( at least 50% of the time)
