As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Planning Specialist to join our team and contribute to the success of our business.

We are embarking on an inspiring journey of transformation and are searching for a passionate and experienced senior project planning specialist. In this exciting role, you are the one, who has the expert knowledge of Project Controls and who is responsible for the scheduling process of our delivery projects.

 

You are responsible for creating, maintaining and analyzing the delivery projects’ current and forecasted schedule, including costs, resources and risks. You have an active role in developing solution options to handle delays. You will follow up on the projects, produce reports and do regular analyses, for example S-curves, OTD, earned value and critical path.

When needed, you will be the one who draws the attention of project managers and project team on deviations and problems that may arise.  In the projects, you work closely with the project leader and other participants in the project team.

Your responsibilities 

  • You will be responsible for leading planning and scheduling efforts for all project phases

  • Maintenance and analysis of actual and forecasted schedules

  • Monitoring, reporting and management of deviations

  • Preparation of the Project Review Materials

  • Leading Portfolio Planning and Sales and Operations Planning activities

  • Ensure implementation of standardized project processes and tools and develop skills of the respective project planning stakeholders

Your background 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred or other related business degree

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience within the planning function on major projects (ideally in Power Generation, Oil and Gas or Heavy Construction)

  • Proficient user of Primavera P6 and all MS Office Applications

  • Self-driven personality with ability to multitask in fast paced environment

  • Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken

  • Knowledge of Unifier is an advantage

  • It is essential that you have good communication skills and enjoy working in a dynamic and multicultural environment
