R&D Quality Manager (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and implement R&D quality culture, strategy, objectives and metrics among the R&D teams of the Technology Center

  • Implement quality governance in R&D and Global Product Support processes and projects. Coach and support the R&D engineers in selection and use of R&D and quality methods and standards such as Gate model, DFMEA and PFMEA, DoE, PPAP, CtQ and others

  • Develop the R&D Quality and Reliability community within the R&D organization

  • Proactively collaborate with other BU functions to ensure quality across the entire value chain to fulfill the customer requirements

  • Continuously drive improvement of processes and tools with effective definitions, measurements and controls

  • Live core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business

Your background

  • Engineering graduate degree, M.Sc. preferred

  • Experience in product development or quality & operation

  • Expert knowledge in governance models for product development and design tools such as DFSS, FMEA and DoE

  • Six-Sigma green-belt or black-belt (or equivalent, e.g. Operational Excellence Program graduate) desirable

  • Proven leadership, people management and change management skills

  • Integrating character, team player and strong communication skills

  • Fluent in English

  • Available to travel internationally on occasion (<20%)
