The opportunity:

The Service excellence team is a part of the Common Shared Services organization and supports multiple functions(including Finance, SCM, HR Operations, and Trade Transport and Logistics amongst others). As AI Automation Engineer within the Business Process Automation team, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on enabling the CSS functions to deliver their services with greater efficiency and effectiveness.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Design AI-powered solutions, including the integration of AI Agents, to handle complex, repetitive, or decision-driven tasks.

  • Create and optimize generative models such as GANs (Generative Adversarial Networks) and VAEs (Variational Autoencoders) for various applications, including content creation, data augmentation, and more.

  • Multimodal AI Integration: Develop AI solutions that integrate multiple data modalities (e.g., text, image, audio) to create cohesive and intelligent systems.

  • Design and implement intelligent automation solutions using AI/ML models and natural language processing to optimize business processes and enhance operational efficiency.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, develop scalable AI pipelines, and ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems.

  • Develop and implement POCs using MaaS platforms (e.g., Azure OpenAI & Google Vertex AI) and AI Agents to showcase their potential value.

  • Configure, train, and deploy AI Agents to interact with systems, perform decision-making, and automate tasks requiring cognitive functions.

  • Leverage MaaS platforms to deploy, monitor, and fine-tune AI models for Shared Services automation.

  • Build APIs and pipelines to integrate AI capabilities into existing tools and workflows.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, test solutions, and roll out AI-driven systems.

  • Translate technical concepts into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to analyze Shared Services workflows and identify high-impact automation opportunities.

  • Stay ahead of trends in AI, including advancements in MaaS platforms, Large Language Models (LLMs), and natural language interfaces.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.

  • 8–10 years of experience in AI and machine learning, with exposure to generative models, AI Agents, or multimodal AI.

  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for tackling real-world AI challenges.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to explain technical ideas to diverse audiences.

  • Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional environments.

  • Familiarity with project management tools and agile methodologies is a plus.

  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
