LP STATCOM commissioning engineer

How you’ll make an impact

• You will organize and execute activities related to LP STATCOM system testing and commissioning work including responsibility for organizing test equipment.

• You will take part in pre-commissioning meeting, planning and documentation preparation, and prepare LP STATCOM system related commissioning ITP (Inspection and testing plan) and testing procedure/ check list as per the plant system configurations.

• You will assist in technical discussions with the client and the client’s consultants for LP STATCOM related topics and provide constructive suggestions and proposal especially in the upgraded project.

• You will participate and analyze any disturbances that may occur on the system during the commissioning and operation.

• You need to troubleshoot the problems at job side or remotely, provide solutions and implement, throughout the system lifecycle.

• You will support in tender work for LP STATCOM system commissioning scope including creating work plans, cost estimates, budget etc.

• You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum 3-5 years of commissioning experience.

• Experience in Control and Protection or SCADA scope from testing project stages.

• Experience in Commissioning work in plants of different sizes, complexities, and technologies.

• Experience in Cooling System Commissioning

• Experience in outdoor equipment including capacitors, resistors, PT, CT, CB, etc, Installation and testing

• Good spoken and written English and good communication skills.
