Technical Solution Owner - Control & Protection conceptual design

The opportunity

Due to our continuous growth, we are hiring a Technical Solution Owner for HVDC Control & Protection conceptual design. This is a hybrid working role, based in our Ludvika, Sweden offices, combined with working from your home-office.

You will be part of the Global Engineering organization for our High Voltage Direct Current product group. The HVDC technology has been on the market for over 60 years and is an enabler for renewable energy integration, supporting energy transition for a sustainable future. How you’ll make an impact

• Technical mentorship and leadership
• Obtain and maintain knowledge about relevant applicable standards
• Lead the development of engineering solutions.
• Support the technical responsible teams and the tender & conceptual team
• Active and regular information exchange with Product Owner, Technical Responsible and Office Managers
• Coordinator of domain/discipline solutions and base work
• Driver of continuous improvement and failure investigations

Your background

• University degree in Engineering (electrical, mechanical, civil, or related field).
• Long experience of the control and protection system relevant area for HVDC
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with applicable standards and cross-functional collaboration.
