Real Estate Core Project Controller - Controlling Practice & Operations

The opportunity:

Act as business partner to the Project Mangers & Project controlling lead of Real state segment, responsible for all financial and commercial matters and actively driving the project’s performance. Understanding of Project life cycle, Know the stakeholders and their requirements, Verify the pre-construction studies, compare cost of similar Project and provide insights to the respective stakeholders, Creation of CIMT and follow up for approval, set up Project in S4Hana with WBS structure. Set up project files as per Business guidelines. Timely update of Capex dashboard, revision of rolling forecast, annual budget.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Conduct weekly updates with PM and review Project schedule. Proactive participation in review meetings as and when needed and provide financial insights.
• Timely review the Project files as per business guidelines. Perform variance analysis for cost, revenue, gross margin and cash flow. Perform Cash flow review and highlight the deviation. Ensure accurate financial entries for the project.
• Drive optimizations in terms of cash flow, cost & gross margin along with the Project Manager & respective stakeholders.
• Compliance & Internal Control - Ensure storing audit documents. Provide support for external and internal audits as and when conducted. Act as a guardian, responsible for adherence to corporate governance, integrity, assurance, internal control, group charter, business specific directives and instructions.
• Ensure Project closure activities are completed as per organization guidelines and closure is signed off by Project manager. Asset monitoring and ensure capitalization as per organization guidelines.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

• Master’s degree in finance and accounting or professional Qualifications (CA or CMA).
• High Level working knowledge in SAP HANA / ECC 6: PS, FICO, MM & SD modules.
• Well versed with MS Office, SAP, ERP, Business Intelligence reports and Internet Applications.
• Required to have strong communication and ability to drive overall project performance Proven ability to work at a high degree of teamwork and group synergy.
• High sense of responsibility, commitment & effective communicator
• 3-5 years of Project controlling experience, preferably real estate.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
