The opportunity

Hitachi Energy Service is a trusted lifecycle partner, providing customers with secure, sustainable, and innovative service solutions, globally. Our Service offerings empower customers & partners to holistically manage the asset lifecycle—from start-of-life (e.g., Install & Commission), through services designed to strengthen operational-life (e.g., Upgrade, Repair & Extend), to end-of-life activities (e.g., Replace & Decommission).

How you’ll make an impact

1. You will design and establish a comprehensive supply chain management system tailored to service operation.

2. You will define processes, KPIs, and governance models to ensure operational efficiency and responsiveness (KPI).

3. You will collaborate closely with the Product BU to ensure stable supply of shared materials, align procurement strategies and inventory planning across BUs to avoid disruptions, lead the development, sourcing, and lifecycle management of service-exclusive materials.

4. You will work with engineering and service delivery teams to identify material needs and ensure timely availability, to manage supplier performance, ratings, forecasting and reviews and drive initiatives to improve cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability across the service supply chain.

5. You will implement digital tools and analytics to enhance visibility and decision-making. You will be responsible for conducting departmental energy review work; Cooperate with the formulation and implementation of the company's energy management goals, indicators, and management.

6. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

1. You hold a bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Business, Purchasing, Material Management, or equivalent.

2. Strategic planning and methodology on a global scale. Clear logic and excellent problem-solving ability, methods and ideas to promote problem-solving.

3. Knowledge of compliance with legal and ethical aspects of purchasing and contracting, supply chain planning / purchasing tools.

4. 3 to 5 years of exposure in strong negotiation and contracting skills.

5. Experience in sourcing or procurement & supplier quality improvement.

6. Fluent English skill.
