SCM Engineer Intern

The opportunity

Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products, Solutions and Services.  Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications, including power generation, transmission and distribution, oil, chemical and gas, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor and data centers, as well as building and transportation sectors.

How you’ll make an impact

1. You will collate supplier related information, such as type test report, supplier evaluation data, etc.

2. You will participate in negotiations with suppliers.

3. You will assist other colleagues to coordinate the delivery of emergency materials.

4. You will assist other colleagues to complete daily work, such as offline data maintenance before the Rewia system (formerly ERP system) was launched.

5. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

1. You hold a bachelor’s degree or above, majored in Electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering or related.

2. Be able to work under pressure.

3. Good interpersonal and communication skills.

4. CET 4 at least, good English skill in both writing and verbal English.
