How you’ll make an impact

1. You will develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share for Hitachi Energy's diverse product and service portfolio in China and identify, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders, understanding their needs and positioning Hitachi Energy solutions effectively.

2. You will lead the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies also conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential threats, providing insights for strategic decision-making.

3. You will collaborate closely with technical, product development, and service teams to ensure alignment of sales and marketing efforts with product capabilities and customer requirements also prepare and deliver compelling presentations, product demonstrations, and technical explanations to customers, consultants, and internal teams also will manage sales pipelines, forecast sales accurately, and report on sales performance against established goals.

4. You will represent Hitachi Energy at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, actively promoting the company's brand and offerings also contribute to the development of marketing collateral, sales tools, and promotional campaigns tailored to the Chinese market and provide mentorship and guidance to junior sales and marketing professionals, fostering a high-performance team environment.

5. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
1. You hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

2. Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in sales and marketing within the energy, power transmission & distribution, or heavy industrial sectors.

3. Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and contributing to significant business growth with strong understanding of the Chinese energy market landscape, including regulatory frameworks, key players, and emerging trends.

4. Demonstrated expertise in strategic sales planning, market analysis, and developing go-to-market strategies, excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels.
5. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite, ability to travel frequently within China and occasionally internationally as required.
6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed business decisions.

7. Proactive, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.

8. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (both written and spoken) is essential.
