Software Developer

The opportunity:

As a Software Developer, you will be part of Indian Operation Center, India (INOPC-PG), aiming to develop a global value chain, where key business activities, resources, and expertise are shared across geographic boundaries to optimize value for Hitachi Energy customers across markets. As part of Transformers BU, we provide high-quality engineering and Technology to Hitachi Energy world. This is an important step from Hitachi Energy's Global Footprint strategy.

How you’ll make an impact:

• The Frontend Developer implements user interfaces that translate business and technical requirements into responsive, accessible, and scalable applications.

• Ensuring consistency with design guidelines, architectural principles, and modern UI/UX standards. 

• Developing modern, scalable UI applications based on technical specifications. Implementing responsive layouts and component based architectures. 

• Integrating frontend logic with microservices and RESTful APIs. Work with state management frameworks (NgRX, Redux). 

• Writing automated tests and follow TDD methodology. Collaborating with UX designers, architects, and backend developers. 

• Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering with 2+ years building enterprise scale UI applications. 

• Expertise in Angular 19+, TypeScript, React, or Next.js. Experience using state management patterns such as NgRX or Redux. 

• Understanding of event-driven frontend designs. Experience with component libraries (Angular Material, Bootstrap, Prime, etc.). 

• Knowledge of UI/UX principles and tools (Figma or equivalent). Strong problem solving skills. 

• Experience with Azure Cloud, Azure Service Bus, or Kafka is a plus. Familiarity with orchestration and CI/CD tools is beneficial. 

• Proactive problem-solving and process optimization approach. Strong analytical thinking and systematic troubleshooting abilities.

• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
