Technical Project Manager 80 – 100% (f/m/d)

The opportunity

We are looking for a Project Manager to strengthen our Team in our Business Unit Transformers, Ticino.

In this role you are leading the execution of medium-size projects mainly related to LV & MV Transformers and Reactors and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy, quality standards, health & safety and environment requirements.

How you’ll make an impact

• Developing project schedules, and determining resource requirements

• Monitoring and reporting on the status of projects including cost, timing, and staffing

• Ensuring adherence to internal and external quality standards (e.g., International Standards Organization)

• Manage After-Sales projects by ensuring the fulfillment of customer needs

• Identifying/resolving obstacles to completing project on time and to budget

• May include work managing multiple, interrelated projects (including business transformation projects)

• On some projects, the work may include integrating vendor tasks into the project plan and tracking and reviewing vendor deliverables

Your background

• Electrical Engineering or mechanical Engineering Background

• 2-3 years proven experience in Project Management with focus on Transformers and Reactors

• Collaboration with diverse number of stakeholders

• Very good knowledge of English and Italian; any other languages are a plus

• Strong communicator, self-driven and open-minded

• Structured and organized person with the ability to work under time pressure

• Team-player able to build and motivate a project team
