Senior Quality Expert – Composites Insulators High Voltage products (f/m/d)

Lead and execute PPAP qualification plans, supplier audits, surveillance programs, and process/product verification activities.

Participate in supplier technical reviews, approval processes, and internal NPI (New Product Introduction) activities.

Drive process quality improvements using Hitachi Energy tools, statistical methods, and CTQ evaluations.

Conduct root‑cause analyses, FMEA, and corrective/preventive actions to ensure sustainable process improvements.

Reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) based on customer and factory feedback, embedding CTQs in supplier processes.

Support SQEs, Engineering, and suppliers by promoting industrial standards of excellence and best practices.

Lead global activities for composites insulators, including Prior Failure Analysis (PFA) updates and special processes.

Collaborate closely with Category teams to support CIPS strategies, supplier classification, selection, onboarding, and performance improvement.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field (Master’s degree preferred).

7+ years of experience in Supplier Quality or Manufacturing Process Quality, ideally for composite insulators.

Strong knowledge of PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and process capability tools.

Proven auditing experience and familiarity with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 quality standards.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including RCA and 8D methodologies.

Demonstrated ability to work in cross‑functional and global teams with strong stakeholder interaction.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; able to manage complex technical discussions.

Willingness to travel up to 40% globally and lead activities across international supplier networks.
