GI MACH Integration Verification Engineer

We incorporate the integrated systems, solutions and services of our business' DC and AC fields, including HVDC, Substations, FACTS, Grid and Power Quality solutions such as offshore wind connections, and Semiconductors. We offer Power Consulting for key segments in the energy system, such as renewables, transmission distribution and as well as e-transportation solutions.

How you’ll make an impact

1. You will design, develop, and execute comprehensive integration and verification test plans for GI MACH systems, including hardware and software components, also develop automated test scripts and tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

2. You will collaborate with development teams to identify and debug system issues, providing detailed analysis and recommendations for resolution also participate in system architecture reviews to ensure testability and maintainability of new features and functionalities.

3. You will conduct performance, reliability, and stress testing of integrated GI MACH systems also document test results, defects, and verification processes in a clear and concise manner.

4. You will stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in system integration and verification.

5. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing methodologies and tools also provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers when required.

6. You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

1. You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

2. Strong understanding of communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, IEC 61850, OPC UA) relevant to power systems.

3. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for test automation, experience with test automation frameworks and tools.

4. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA), Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms is a plus.

5. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
