The opportunity

Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products, Solutions and Services. Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications, including power generation, transmission and distribution, oil, chemical and gas, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor and data centers, as well as building and transportation sectors.

Nearly half of our white-collar workforce comprises employees in engineering and scientific fields. How you’ll make an impact

1. You will gain broad exposure across the Transformer Business Unit through rotational assignments in different functions, developing a comprehensive understanding of our products, operations, customers, and business processes.

2. You will support, encourage, and guide you to reach your career goals through our commitment to lifelong learning.

4. You will learn about the relevant business or product line within your rotations and take ownership of and complete engaging projects within the rotation timeframe.

5. You will engage with supervisors and mentors to develop your technical and leadership skills, examples of rotations include application engineering, research & development, project management, design engineering, process engineering, supply chain, production supervisor, business development, operations, technical sales and marketing, and more.

6. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

1. You hold a bachelor's degree.

2. We require candidate with STEM background is mandatory and graduate within 2 years (not earlier than April 2024).

3. Who is willing to relocate for 2-3 rotations across different functions and locations within the Transformer Business Unit.

4. Aspire to promote the progress and development of global sustainable energy.

5. Proficiency in English speaking and writing skill.
