The opportunity
 

Under the supervision of BU, GPP/HUB or Local QMS managers supports implementation and maintenance of Quality Management System (QMS) in their area of responsibility in accordance with the Business Unit’s QMS, applicable standards and internal regulations. Organizes and conducts
internal audits and support certifications audits. Responsible for process definition with its acceptance criteria and provide relevant trainings and instructions to the teams within their area of responsibility about the processes. Participates in Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and continuous improvement
activities.

How you’ll make an impact
 

  • Implements and ensure adherence to applicable QMS within their area of responsibility. When applicable managers and mentors the quality professionals under their responsibility.
  • Provides leadership and technical expertise in Quality Management System solutions to the teams in their area of responsibility.
  • Ensures all necessary training for QMS is available at the appropriate tools or platforms and the organization is aware and trained.
  • Supports integrating the Voice of the Customer into the QMS framework through effective implementation of customer feedback processes, such as customer surveys, complaint resolution, and comprehensive analysis of customer feed-back data.
  • Ensures the business process mapping (BPM) is available, released and showing the up-to-date process landscape of their scope in appropriate tool (e.g. Adonis).
  • Ensures the document management system (DMS) holds all relevant QMS related documents as official, controlled documents.
  • Prepares and assists regular internal audits with all business relevant functions/departments and processes. Preferably use the GQSA (global quality self-assessment) approach and Intelex tool to document internal audits.
  • Prepares and assists external ISO 9001 audits with external certification bodies that are approved by Hitachi Energy.
  • Contributes to maintenance of an effective quality governance framework within their area of responsibility. This includes assisting in the development and implementation of quality procedures and practices in accordance with established standards and regulations.
  • Implements process performance metrics and indicators to assess process efficiency, while closely monitoring critical parameters.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support identified continuous improvement initiatives & supports execution of the BU Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) within their area of responsibility.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering & preferably Electrical or Mechanical.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Quality Management (QMS).
  • Internal Auditor Certification is preferable.
  • Lean 6Sigma, Yellow Belt (Quality) is preferable.
  • Lean 6Sigma, Green Belt (Q&CI) is preferable.
  • Experienced representing the interests and requirements of the business.
  • Ability to generate new ideas and challenge status quo.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic language is required.
