The opportunity:

Act as a business partner to factory controller in all financial and commercial matters and actively drive the Factory performance. Ensure financial performance for factory along with Factory controller by preparing financial analyses, ensuring cost controls, providing recommendations for financial decisions, and serving as second line of finance representative for the factory. Work with different expertise within the financial areas to optimize the factory performance with consciousness of the remaining risks. Collaborate with other functions to proactively reach effective business decisions.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Compliance & Internal control: Is responsible for adherence to corporate governance, integrity, assurance, internal control, group charter, business specific finance directives and instructions.

  • Prepares Business Financial yearly Budget along with factory controller & Factory Manager and follow up on achieving the KPI’s.

  • Drive and seek for optimization of factor Cash Flow, Revenues and GM contribution together with factory controller & factory manager.

  • Drive independently the factory location finance activity & support the business activities.

  • Must have exposure towards Sale Order & Product Costing, Result Analysis, Variance Analysis, MTO & MTS business scenario etc.,

  • Monitor the Capex Investment projects financial & targets for reporting.

  • Handling the Monthly, quarterly & annual book closure activities in SAP System.

  • Independently handle the financial books cleansing activities with respect to old receivables, advances & Payables.

  • Preparation of Monthly Review Deck along with Factory controllers after Book Closure within stipulated time schedules.

  • Responsible for ensuring smooth closure of all internal audits, Financial Audits & Cost audit by providing the required data & documentation.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

  • MBA, M.com, with 5-10 years of work experience in manufacturing plants within finance.

  • CA/CMA with at least 2-3 years of relevant manufacturing industry plant experience.

  • SAP FICO (S4 HANA) practical experience is must.

  • Experience with Cost Accounting, financial reporting and Accounting Standards.

  • Skills – Critical thinking, professional and with strong analytical skills. Supportive.

  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
