The opportunity:

The Technical Project Manager will lead the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of OnePlan as the central PMO tool for all Engineering projects. This role ensures standardized project documentation, accurate project plan maintenance, and reliable portfolio visibility for Engineering leadership. As the primary OnePlan expert within Engineering, the mission is to streamline project planning processes, improve data quality, and enable efficient, transparent project execution across the Engineering organization.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Serve as the primary Key User and administrator for OnePlan within Engineering. Configure and maintain OnePlan, including templates, workflows, dashboards, and user access.

  • Ensure correct setup and ongoing maintenance of all Engineering projects in the system. Coordinate with IT and OnePlan support for system enhancements and troubleshooting.

  • Develop and maintain standard Engineering project documentation and templates. Support project owners in documenting project scope, schedules, risks, and deliverables.

  • Implement and reinforce PMO best practices across Engineering teams. Ensure accurate, complete, and up‑to‑date project information in OnePlan.

  • Assist project leaders in building and updating detailed project schedules. Consolidate Engineering project portfolio updates for review by leadership.

  • Develop and manage dashboards, KPIs, and status reports within OnePlan. Provide insights into project health, risks, and performance trends.

  • Ensure data consistency and quality across all Engineering project entries. Work collaboratively with Engineering managers, project leads, PMO, and cross-functional teams.

  • Conduct training and onboarding sessions for Engineering users of OnePlan. Serve as the single point of contact for all OnePlan help, queries, and support needs.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any engineering, Project Management, or related field with 3–7 years of experience in project management, PMO roles, or Engineering project coordination.

  • Experience with project or portfolio management tools (OnePlan preferred; MS Project, Smartsheet, Planner, etc.). Strong documentation, planning, and organizational capabilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively. Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of resource planning, project scheduling, and PMO processes. Prior experience in Engineering, R&D, or technical project environments is an added advantage

  • Familiarity with process improvement frameworks (PMBOK, Agile, Lean). Professional certifications (PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2) are a plus.

  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
