Data & Automation Specialist - CP&O

The Opportunity:

Providing Financial Planning and Controlling expertise to the organization by compiling, analyzing metrics, finding trends, tackling challenges, communicating information to relevant stakeholders, and recommending actions to improve financial performance.
 

How you’ll make an impact:
 

  • Build and manage ETL workflows using *Alteryx* to prepare, clean, and reconcile financial data from SAP, Excel, and other sources.
  • Create dashboards and reports in *Power BI* to monitor KPIs, reconciliation status, and financial performance metrics.
  • Automate manual finance tasks using *Power Automate and Power Apps* (e.g., reconciliations, approvals, variance tracking).
  • Use *SQL* to query, validate, and reconcile financial data sets, ensuring consistency across source and target systems.
  • Leverage *Celonis* for process mining and identifying deviations, inefficiencies, and reconciliation breaks in finance workflows.
  • Perform reconciliations between systems (e.g., *SAP* vs BI, consolidation tools vs source systems) and flag exceptions.
  • Conduct data quality checks and establish controls to ensure completeness and accuracy of reported data.
  • Work closely with the controlling team to support financial planning, closing, and reporting activities.
  • Assist in implementing global data governance practices and ensuring standardization across finance data elements.
  • Translate controlling requirements into data transformation logic, reports, and automation solutions.
  • Ensure alignment of reconciled data with IFRS and internal financial reporting policies.
  • Support master data integrity and updates in coordination with global data owners.
  • Drive or support global data governance and financial transformation projects under CP&O.
  • Maintain process documentation, data dictionaries, and reconciliation logs.
  • Ensure audit-readiness of all automated workflows and reconciliation processes.
  • Coordinate with IT, finance, and process owners to align data definitions, reporting structures, and control mechanisms.
  • Monitor KPIs on data quality, timeliness, and reconciliation accuracy.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, financial controlling, or process automation roles.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Alteryx, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, SQL.
  • Experience using Celonis or other process mining tools is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAP FI/CO and financial consolidation/reporting tools is a plus.
  • Proven experience with reconciliations, financial data validation, and internal controls.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills .
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Structured, self-driven, and proactive approach to identifying and solving data issues.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
