The opportunity 

We are looking for a PLM Trainer - Technical Writer to join our team at Hitachi Energy. This role is essential for creating and coordinating training programs related to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) applications. You will focus on developing high-quality training content and delivering engaging learning experiences through both e-learning and classroom sessions. As PLM projects expand globally, the need for structured and high-quality training is growing. This role offers the opportunity to shape the learning experience for thousands of users and contribute to the success of our PLM roadmap.

This role is based in Ludvika, Sweden.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Develop and maintain training materials for PLM applications such as Teamcenter, Active Workspace, NX, Engineering Base, and Polarion. 
  • Design modular training content to support role-based learning tracks. 
  • Collaborate with PLM project teams to ensure training aligns with business processes and new functionalities. 
  • Publish training content on the Hitachi My Learning platform. 
  • Deliver classroom sessions and support e-learning initiatives. 
  • Promote training programs internally and ensure course evaluations are followed up for continuous improvement. 
  • Integrate VR, Fuzor, and BIM technologies into training content and sessions where applicable. 

Your background

  • Strong skills in technical writing, instructional design, and visualization for training development. 
  • Recommended knowledge of PLM applications: Teamcenter, Active Workspace, NX, Engineering Base, and Polarion. 
  • Experience with e-learning tools such as Articulate 360 or similar. 
  • Pedagogical skills for both writing and teaching. 
  • Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels. 
  • Fluency in English. 
  • High integrity, dependability, and a proactive, creative mindset. 
  • Strong collaboration skills and openness to feedback and continuous improvement.
