Junior Cybersecurity Risk & Issue Operations Specialist

Job Summary**

The Junior Cybersecurity Risk & Issue Operations Specialist at Hitachi, Ltd. will support the identification, assessment, and management of cybersecurity risks and issues, contributing to the overall security posture of the organization. This role involves assisting with risk analysis, incident response support, and maintaining accurate records of security events.

Job Responsibilities**

• Support all aspects of the Cybersecurity Management System lifecycle, including documentation of each implementation.​

• Build/maintain regional/business-level relationships in assigned areas of responsibilities​

• Work with contacts and management for risk identification, assessment treatment and acceptance.​

• Work with stakeholders, to identify and document corrective actions, track remediation and report status​

• Work closely with local area contacts to identify Information Security control processes and associated ownership.​

• Support the issue management lifecycle from identification to final closure.​

• Understand and implement core aspects of ISO 27001:2022 standard.

Job Qualifications**

• Relevant Master's degree and 1+ years of hands-on experience in Information Security/Risk Management.​

• Experience in Governance or Framework maintenance is preferred.​

• CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC certification is a nice to have​

• Knowledge of the ISO 27001:2022 standard required, knowledge of relevant other security frameworks (NIST CSF, CobiT, …) preferred​

• Ability to scope, conduct and analyze audits based on controls frameworks.​
