Head of Operations BiMOS Backend & eMobility (f/m/d)

Our Unit delivers high-performance semiconductor devices to internal customers and external partners.

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to oversee the BiMOS Backend & eMobility manufacturing operations. This role is critical in ensuring efficient production, high-quality standards, and the successful implementation of strategic growth initiatives.

How you'll make an impact

• Ensure compliance with HSE and regulation directives, assess risks, and implement safety plans in line with internal procedures

• Lead capacity planning and Capex projects to support infrastructure upgrades and long-term goals

• Prepare and manage annual production budgets, optimize costs, and drive operational excellence

• Develop and implement automation strategies, integrate lean manufacturing principles, and drive continuous improvement

• Support Business teams and communicate and align manufacturing capabilities effectively

• Organize, staff, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

• Achieve top-tier operational results while optimizing working capital and resource utilization

• Deliver clear reports on performance, safety, and compliance to management and stakeholders

Your background

• University degree in business engineering, science, or electrical engineering

• 12+ years of experience in the semiconductor and power electronics industry

• Proven leadership capabilities with a track record of managing complex manufacturing operations, preferably in Semiconductor industry

• Strong expertise in lean manufacturing, automation, and process optimization

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional teams and stakeholders

• Strategic mindset with hands-on mentality as well as experience in budgeting, capacity planning, and Capex project management

• Self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented with a passion for continuous improvement

• Fluent in German and English, with the ability to operate effectively in an international environment
