Team Manager Protection Solutions – HVDC Control & Protection Software

We are looking for an engaging person who wants to grow together with their team and the company. You will be responsible for managing one of our software design and integration teams within the HVDC Control & Protection Software area, with a specific focus on Protection Solutions. The team is responsible for supplying protection solutions for HVDC projects across the globe, including software design, development, integration, testing, and verification in real-time and virtual environments.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Manage a team of engineers responsible for HVDC protection software, involving design, integration, and testing in both virtual and real-time systems.
  • Own the technical function area for protection solutions, ensuring process adherence and quality assurance.
  • Establish and maintain alignment, collaboration, and support towards neighboring departments and project execution offices.
  • Be a positive role model for your team by living our vision, delivering promises, and developing people.
  • Adapt and implement strategic initiatives to fit your team and achieve business alignment.
  • Plan team composition, development, and capabilities needed to meet business needs, in alignment with internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts within your team, ensuring quality output and ownership of delivery.

Your background

  • You have at least a university degree in Engineering or equivalent experience from a comparable position.
  • Experience supporting and growing team members in a dynamic environment with continuous opportunities and challenges.
  • Ability to assess essential aspects of the business and make informed choices in line with business requirements.
  • Motivated leadership, as the change process takes time and is challenging.
  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and verbal.
  • High level of time management skills for yourself and when coaching others.
  • Knowledge or previous experience in HVDC, protection design, or power system technology is meriting.
